The Lake

This is Rosie writing about one of her favorite places to go: Duane Lake, NY

Here's sunset on Duane Lake.

When you kayak on the lake at sunset,

the water is like glass,

and it's fun

to jump off into the water

and watch the water

fill with glassy rings,

Without a care in the world. 

That picture was taken right before we got swept down to the bottom of the lake!

I can see Bella

That is Bella and Uncle John with their little friend.

This is Hannah and Caleb. Something cool to notice: near Hannah's 

left arm you can see a jumping fish!

I love this tree. It's probably a thousand years old! Because My Great

Grandma climbed it and my Grandma climbed it and my mom climbed it. 

Just a fun fact!

That was some of the best lemon meringue pie I have ever eaten! 

That's the most pie I've ever eaten too!

The hills are alive with the sound of music! 

Larson Lane, is actually what it's supposed to be. But when this guy who was in charge of roads (or something like that) was not reelected he went around changing all sorts of road names before his term ended. 

Gotta love the smores!

I wish the chocolate melted a little more....
